Account and Data Deletion
Your identity in the Egypt Trains app is fully anonymous — we never ask for an email, phone number, or any personal data. A local identity is created on your device only to store your contribution points and chosen in-app name.
How to delete your account (in-app)
- Open the app and go to Settings.
- At the bottom of the page, tap Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account is frozen immediately.
What is deleted and when
On confirmation your account is frozen at once (hidden from leaderboards; you cannot contribute or chat), then all your data — name, points, rank, and votes — is permanently deleted from our servers within 30 days. You may cancel during this period to restore everything; afterwards deletion is permanent and irreversible.
Cannot access the app?
If you have uninstalled the app and want your data deleted, contact us via our contact page with your account ID (shown in the app settings) if available, and we will complete deletion within 30 days.
