The Egyptian National Railway Authority announced the operation of a new set of additional air-conditioned trains on a number of main lines in Upper and Lower Egypt, coinciding with the increased demand for travel before the Eid al-Adha holiday in 2026.
The additional trains are part of the railway's plan to reduce congestion and provide more trips for passengers, especially on the Cairo, Alexandria and Upper Egypt lines, while supporting operation during peak days.

Train 3200, air conditioning, Mansoura - Cairo
The train departs from Mansoura Station at 1:00 pm, and arrives in Cairo at 2:55 pm.
Train 3202, air conditioning, Tanta - Cairo
The train departs from Tanta station at 9:35 am, and arrives at Cairo station at 10:45 am.
Additional trains on May 30, 2026
Train 3201, air-conditioned Cairo - Alexandria
Departs from Cairo station at 3:45 am, arriving in Alexandria at 6:40 am.
Train 2993, air-conditioned Cairo - Tanta
He departs from Cairo at 10:35 am, and arrives in Tanta at 11:55 am.
Train 2999, air conditioning, Cairo - Mansoura
Departs Cairo station at 5:45 AM, arriving Mansoura at 8:05 AM.
Train 3204, air-conditioned, Assiut - Aswan
The train departs from Assiut Station at 4:50 pm, and arrives at Aswan Station at 11:35 pm.
The Egyptian National Railway Authority confirmed the continued follow-up of operating activity and the payment of additional trips during the Eid season, to facilitate the movement of citizens and reduce pressure on regular trains, especially with the high rates of travel between governorates.
