The Egyptian National Railway Authority announced the operation of new additional flights between Alexandria and Kafr El Dawar and vice versa, starting from May 27 until May 30, 2026, in conjunction with the increased demand for travel and transportation between the two cities during the coming days.
The authority confirmed that the new operation comes within a plan to support passenger movement in Lower Egypt, through the payment of additional special trains, “Long Live Egypt,” in addition to increasing the installation of some trains scheduled to stop at Kafr El Dawar station, with the aim of reducing crowding and providing additional seats for passengers.
Additional flight times between Kafr El Dawar and Alexandria
The first special
The train departs from Kafr El Dawar station at 5:10 am, and arrives at Alexandria station at 5:45 am.
While it departs on the return trip from Alexandria station at 6:15 am, it arrives in Kafr El Dawar at 6:50 am.
The second specificity
The train departs from Kafr El Dawar station at 12:20 pm, and arrives in Alexandria at 12:55 pm.
In the reverse direction, it departs from Alexandria station at 2:40 pm, and arrives in Kafr El Dawwar at 3:15 pm.
The third specificity
The train departs from Kafr El Dawar station at 8:40 pm, and arrives at Alexandria station at 9:15 pm.
It returns from Alexandria station at 11:40 pm, arriving at Kafr El Dawar at 12:15 am.
Increasing Lower Egypt train services
The Railway Authority explained the continued implementation of the operating support plan during the peak period, by increasing the number of daily flights and providing additional services on Lower Egypt lines, especially with the increase in passenger numbers during that period.
